The Characters

Nevel

Head of the Elvaan Army and a symbol of strength in the eyes of his people, Nevel is a highly respected figure in the Elvaan nation. Together with his beautiful wife, Nadia, they lead their people with grace and honor. Nevel seems cold and distant by first impressions, but at heart he is a passionate individual driven by the love he has for his wife and people and is willing to die for them all the same. After confronting Nadia’s murderers, he retaliates in a fit of rage and his actions bring about a devastating war affecting every race and nation in the world … the Great War.

Nadia

A high priestess among the Elvaan nation, Nadia is Nevel’s beloved and ill-fated wife. She is gentle and kind, treating all living things with respect. Strolling through the forest is what she enjoys most. Her death is what sparks the Great War.

Hannah

After the events of the Great War, ‘Millennia War’ picks up a thousand years later with the protagonist of the story, Hannah, as she searches for her older twin sister, Saya, after she goes missing on a routine mission for the Federation. Before putting her life on hold to find Saya, she managed the karate dojo passed down to her from Uncle. Hannah is generally an upbeat person but she is also quick tempered and tends to act on impulse. However, what makes Hannah truly stand out is her natural blue hair and big ears. Hannah uses Shotokan Karate and mainly uses kicks when she fights.

Saya

Hannah’s older twin, Saya joined the Federation at eighteen and rose to the ranks of captain by 22. Like Hannah, she is an excellent martial artist, however, she’s very laid back and tends to stifle her emotions when she is angry or upset making her a bit frustrating at times to talk to. Saya feels unappreciated at home; her relationship with Uncle isn’t as close like Hannah and Lydia’s is with him, not to mention going through a bad break-up with her ex-boyfriend and former partner, Julius. Because of these experiences, Saya has become extremely self-reliant, afraid to be let down by people. Saya uses Shotokan Karate and mainly uses punches when she fights.

Lydia

Quiet, sweet natured, and mysterious, Lydia lives with Hannah and Saya in Uncle Hayashi’s house. She helped raise Hannah and Saya with Uncle Hayashi since they were small and the twins look towards her as their older sister. Lydia joins Hannah because she worries for her safety. She seems to have some sort of knowledge as to what is truly going on for she seems to anticipate things before they happen. Lydia doesn’t care for Tomiko much because she suspects her of not being a true friend to Hannah among other things.

Uncle Hayashi

The twins' uncle and guardian, he is also their sensei and taught them Shotokan Karate. He had a dojo a few years ago but passed it down to Hannah and chose to live quietly at home. Very calm and stubborn, Uncle is set in his ways like typical elderly people. He took in Lydia when she was a baby after her family died ...

Roman

Laid back and easy-going, Roman is the most relaxed person in the group but is pre-pared to lay everything on the line to protect his loved ones. He accompanies his long-time girlfriend, Hannah, on her journey with strong faith in her cause. When he’s not playing or reading about the latest video games, he enjoys working out and sleeping. His natural strength aids him in fighting, although he really doesn’t have any technique.

Julius

Julius wanted nothing more than to be a hero, thus his joining the Federation where he met and fell in love with Saya. However, after fighting many battles, he came to the conclusion that the Federation was not his ideal place to be and without notifying Saya, arranged a discharge. He spent his time traveling the world to find himself as a person and realize his true purpose in life. Julius is highly intelligent in many areas of literature and can even decipher some forms of ancient text. He is quite reserved and very rational, always performing well under pressure. His uses Jujitsu, which stems from his practice in childhood but perfected while serving in the Federation.

Tomiko

The very stylish and outspoken Tomiko is Hannah’s best friend. She is rarely seen without her cat, Socks, who got her name from her white paws, contrasting against her black fur. Even more, Tomiko never takes her helmet off in public no matter where she is which strikes people as odd. Socks seems to be more aware than normal cats, and sometimes looks as though she’s ready to speak words. Tomiko joins Hannah because she claims she wants to help find Saya although she actually has ulterior motives – like following Roman around. Tomiko isn’t Lydia’s biggest fan and tends to act rude towards her for unknown reasons.

Shar

An elvaan witch possessing mastery of various forms of magic, Shar is the reason why Saya is back from the dead. She serves under Nevel’s command as he carries out his quest for revenge and tends to meddle in his personal affairs, acting the part of a concerned servant when in reality she tries to use Nevel for her own agenda. Somewhere deep inside, she really does care for Nevel… but she cares about herself even more. Shar always accessorizes herself with gaudy jewelry and animal furs due to her vain nature.

Lila

A species of living flame, they seem to appear in random places and relish in the chaos of all things. Though the Lilas that are primarily seen are blue, it is said that there are others that exist in more colors. On an even more rare occasion, one may happen upon a female Lila. However, no one dares to seek them out so these are only rumors. Their origins are unknown.
